FARMSTAY APARTMENT
Set on our 17 acre lifestyle block farm, the Farmstay Apartment is the perfect family escape. With a lovely rural outlook and plenty of family outdoor activities, your holiday can be as fun or low key as you’d like.
Venture out your front door for an energetic walk in the beautiful Papamoa Hills, which are right beside you! The walk is magical at sunset or sunrise and has a range of different walk options. Relax in a beanbag or read a book in the hammock. At night, once the kids are in bed, sit outside and enjoy the abundance of stars and listen for moreporks.
Our Farmstay Apartment is designed with family in mind. It is a 60m2 dwelling, set well off the road with private parking. With a queen bedroom and second bedroom with a king single bunk set (with pull out trundler bed underneath), it is ideal for a family of 4-5 (2 adults, 3 children max) or for 3 - 4 adults. Everything has been designed with your comfort in mind, with the beds sporting new linen, super comfortable new mattresses & various pillow options.
The apartment is double glazed and fully insulated, with air conditioning to keep it cool in summer and a wood-burning fireplace and heat pump to keep it warm and cosy in winter. Retractable insect screens are fitted in each of the rooms so you can enjoy the fresh country air, day or night. There is a fully functional kitchen, with a new coffee machine, dishwasher, smeg oven/stove top, large fridge/freezer, microwave & the essentials for cooking and baking. Free-range eggs (when available), milk, tea, herbal teas, coffee & hot chocolate are provided, along with spices, sauces, and baking essentials.
In addition to a full-sized Smart TV with Netflix provided, there is a Bluetooth soundbar for playing music. Starlink internet is also provided. There is a covered outdoor patio area with a BBQ, outdoor dining table & chairs, plus bean bags and a hammock to lounge in and off street parking for 2 cars.
You will have your own outdoor area, but can visit the farm animals, rabbits, chickens etc, which are in a in shared space with the ‘Pod Living’ accommodation.
The Farmstay apartment is on our 17 acre property where we live, so we are available, should you need anything. We are happy to meet with you once you are settled in, introduce you to the animals and explain what's available on the property and surrounds.
The apartment is attached but separated from our small warehouse/office, where our business is located. This is open normal business hours and only has 3 staff. It is very quiet and will have no impact at all upon your rural escape.
Pets are available to stay upon application, for an additional fee. The property is not dog fenced but a tether is available if needed. Dogs must be supervised on a lead when near any of the animals.
